Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up by our experienced guide in Kampala. After a brief introduction, you’ll embark on a scenic drive towards Murchison Falls National Park. En route, you’ll make a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where you can track wild rhinos on foot. Accompanied by a knowledgeable ranger, you’ll have the opportunity to observe these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat while learning about the ongoing conservation efforts.

After an exhilarating rhino tracking experience, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at a nearby restaurant before continuing your journey to Murchison Falls. As you travel through the lush landscapes and traditional villages, you’ll arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon. Upon arrival, you’ll check in and have time to relax, enjoy the surroundings, and prepare for the adventures that lie ahead. Dinner will be served at the lodge, followed by a peaceful overnight stay.

In the afternoon, you’ll embark on a boat cruise along the Nile River, one of the highlights of the Murchison Falls experience. As you cruise towards the base of the falls, keep your eyes peeled for the abundant wildlife along the riverbanks, including hippos, Nile crocodiles, and a variety of water birds. The cruise provides a unique perspective of the park’s ecosystem and a chance to witness the stunning Murchison Falls up close.

As the day winds down, return to the lodge for a relaxing evening, where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay, reflecting on the incredible wildlife encounters of the day.

Our guide will drive you to this breathtaking viewpoint, where you’ll witness the Nile River forcefully squeezing through a narrow 7-meter gorge before plunging 45 meters into the tumultuous waters below. After this memorable experience, you’ll begin your journey back to Kampala. Along the way, you’ll stop in Masindi for a relaxing lunch, giving you a chance to stretch your legs and enjoy some local cuisine. Following lunch, the drive continues through Uganda’s scenic countryside, with an expected arrival in Kampala by late afternoon or early evening.
