Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Kigali International airport, meet our driver guide and go for a city tour through Kigali. Visit different tourist spots including Kigali genocide memorial site, Kigali convention center, art galleries and shopping malls. You will later cross to Uganda through Gatuna border and proceed to Lake Bunyonyi. Dinner and overnight stay .

Wake up very early to have a cup of coffee, get your packed lunch and transfer to the respective Bwindi park head quarters for briefing about the rules and regulations of gorilla trekking. You will be put together in a group of eight and allocated a gorilla family to trek. At 8:00am, start off the hike to meet the endangered gorillas and the hike can last for between 2-7 hours depending on the location of the mountain gorillas.

Spend an hour with gorillas, learn about their human like behaviors, take pictures, capture videos and enjoy how each gorilla plays a different role in a family. If time allows, you may visit Batwa community villages to experience and learn about their traditional forest life. Dinner and overnight stay.

After a relaxed sunrise breakfast, check out and drive to Rwanda for your connecting fight at Kigali International airport.
